Highly regarded Shukela Training Centre (STC) continues to spread its wings to other African countries.
Recently, STC trained five students from Promo Fruits Benin. Mainly conversant in French, a communication system was devised and put in place to ensure that the students could comprehend their training which was offered in English.

The students were first trained on the electrical aspect of the qualification, as per the request by their company. Given the fact that they were still awaiting the finalisation of the study visa application process, they could not stay for the whole 24-week duration of training. They had to spend only four weeks of training and leave for Benin to finalise their study visa applications.
Upon evaluation before they left for Benin at the end of July 2024, they indicated they were excited about the training they had received, and were hoping to be back soon so that they could proceed with the training.
STC is assisting the students with visa applications by providing all relevant documents required by the South African Embassy. The plan is to have learners back at STC before the end of August 2024 to enable them to finish the training at the end of February 2025.
